The Scriptures
The Holy Bible (Genesis-Revelation) was written by men divinely inspired, and is God's revelation of Himself to man. It has God for its Author, salvation for its end, and truth, without any mixture of error, in its original form. (2 Timothy 3:16; 1 Peter 1:20,21)
God
There is one and only one living and true God. The eternal God reveals Himself to us as Father, Son and Holy Spirit, with distinct personal attributes, but without division of nature, essence, or being.
God the Father
God as Father reigns with providential care over His universe and His creatures, and controls all of human history according to the predetermined purposes of His grace. God is not bound or limited by man's will, and is sovereign over all things at all times.
God the Son
Christ is the eternal Son of God. In His incarnation as Jesus Christ, He was conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary. He fulfilled the divine law by His personal obedience, and in His voluntary death on the cross, He accomplished redemption for His people. The Son of God accomplished the will of the Father and has paid for the sins of His people and is effectually calling His chosen ones to himself until the fullness of God's redemptive plan is complete.
God the Holy Spirit
The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of God. He exalts Christ. He convicts of sin, of righteousness and of judgment. The Holy Spirit is called the comforter and counselor and is the active one in convicting sinners, causing them to see the truth, and granting them faith in order that man can be saved. Man in completely incapable of saving himself, and the Author and Finisher of man's faith is God in His fullness. (Father, Son, Holy Spirit)
Man
Man was created by the special act of God, in His own image, and is the crowning work of His creation. Adam sinned against God and brought sin into the human race. Because of Adam every man/woman coming from the seed of Adam is completely dead spiritually and is considered a sinner. We are born in this state of deadness and every capacity of man/woman is affected by this sin and therefore man's intellect, emotions, and soul are dead, and incapable of doing anything good.
Salvation
Man needs to be saved from the wrath of God. God is perfect and holy and cannot be in the presence of sin without judging sin. Therefore man's sinfulness has to be judged. God sent His Son, Jesus Christ, to save His people from their sins. Jesus Christ lived a perfect/sinless life and voluntarily died on the cross at Calvary. Upon dying, Jesus paid the full price for the sins of His people because our sins were placed on Him, and he endured our punishment in our stead. On the third day, Jeus Christ rose from the dead showing that God the Father had accepted His payment for sin. Just as sin was placed on the perfect Son of God, God also imputed the righteousness of Jesus Christ to our (believers') accounts. This is how sinful man is saved from the wrath of God because God has accomplished salvation for the sins of His people. God has saved us from Himself.
God's Purpose of Grace
Election is the gracious and predetermined purpose of God, according to which He regenerates, sanctifies, and glorifies sinners. All true believers endure to the end. Those whom God has chosen in Christ, and sanctified by His Spirit will never fall away from the state of grace, but shall persevere to the end.
The Church
A New Testament church of the Lord Jesus Christ is a local body of baptized believers who are associated by covenant in the faith and fellowship of the gospel, and seeking to extend the gospel to the ends of the earth. The local church is an autonomous group of Christian believers gathered together for the encouragment, equipping, and service one to another. Each member has been granted a spiritual gift upon conversion, and is encouraged and equipped to use his/her gift(s) for the building up of the whole body. The New Testament church is the body of Christ, which includes all of the redeemed of all the ages.
Baptism & the Lord's Supper
Christian baptism is the immersion of a believer in water. It is an act of obedience symbolizing the believer's faith in a crucified, buried, and risen Savior, the believer's death to sin, the burial of the life, and the resurrection to walk in newness of life in Christ Jesus.
The Lord's Supper is a symbolic act of obedience whereby members remember and proclaim the death of the Redeemer and anticipate His second coming.
The End
God, in His own time and in His own way, will bring the world to its appropriate end. …Jesus Christ will return personally, and visibly the dead will be raised; and Christ will judge all men in righteousness. The unrighteous will be condemned to Hell forever and be subjected to Eternal Conscience Punishment. The righteous will receive their reward and will dwell forever in Heaven with the Lord.
Evangelism & Missions
It is the duty and privilege of every follower of Christ and every church of the Lord Jesus Christ to endeavor to make disciples of all nations, and to seek constantly to win the lost to Christ by personally testifying of the saving act of Jesus Christ on the cross. It can involve living holy lives that Glorify God, and loving sinners by sharing the word of God as it relates to every area of life.
Family
God has ordained the family as the foundational institution of human society. Marriage is the unity of one man and one woman in covenant commitment for a lifetime. The husband and wife are of equal worth before God, since both are created in God's image. The marriage relationship models the way God relates to His people. Children, from the moment of conception, are a blessing and heritage from the Lord.
